For years, many in the West viewed the country through the lens of conflict, as images captured by photojournalists during the Vietnam War shaped its global perception. However, in recent decades, Vietnam has emerged from that shadow, with a new generation of image-makers capturing the essence of this unique and beautiful land.

We've collated the winning images from all previous editions of our bi-annual Street Photography award and presented them alongside feedback from the respective judges, thus showcasing the enduring, compelling power of 'the streets'.
