Andrea Peruzzi is an Italian travel and documentary photographer.
Born in the 1983 in Florence, cradle of the Renaissance and surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, he grew up fascinated by history and nature. During his adolescence, he began capturing places and moments with simple point-and-shoot film cameras.
In 2010, he bought his first digital camera, marking the start of his professional journey in photography. Andrea travels light, “with a camera and a backpack”, seeking the most authentic essence of the places he visits and the people he meets. He values genuine connections and mutual respect, which enrich his emotional and intellectual experience with every trip.
Drawn to cultural diversity, Andrea has journeyed from the bustling squares of Florence to remote villages around the world, documenting the daily lives of communities that preserve their traditions, still far from globalization and mass tourism.
His work has earned recognition in international photography awards and exhibitions. Today, Andrea Peruzzi continues to travel and “see nations through people’s eyes,” documenting humanity in all its depth and diversity.
