I experience photography as a vehicle of pleasure, leaving a residue that reveals what escapes us when we simply look. Presences in transit. Photography does not only freeze moments, but processes. I seek to reveal the multiple places a person inhabits at once. Where they are, and where they are becoming. Where they come from. The state of presence that sustains them, and the state of dreaming that moves them. I aim to capture these quantum states, while at the same time making the passage visible, accompanying the subject through it. What is portrayed is the threshold, and how it is faced by the one who is about to step into it.
