She graduated in Interior Design at the Academy of Arts and New Technologies in Rome, where she attended photography courses,
image composition and visual design. She has been working with the medium of documentary, radio and music productions. Deeply linked to Brazil and its musical culture, she lived in Rio de Janeiro, where she developed her interest in photography throughout her travels between Europe and Brazil. The result of this intense relationship with this city, which grew thanks to countless trips, is a vast photographic archive that has evolved into a project called MemoRio. She uses photography to explore the cityscape, the landscape and
architectural details, allowing the audience to delve into other realities, and inviting people to travel, to discover new worlds.
Benedetta simultaneously works between visuals, soundscapes and music that are embedded in the photographs through a QR code,
which can be scanned in her exhibitions. Her photographs are devices that evoke a strong sense of identity and belonging.
Currently based in Rome, her work has been exhibited in various art galleries around Europe.
