Imagery has shaped my creative life since childhood, sparked by an early fascination with National Geographic magazines. That influence grew into a passion for photography informed by surf culture, magazines, and later refined through studio, fashion, and advertising work.
My professional journey began in Brazil in the mid‑1980s, working in a fashion photography studio where I developed strong technical and concept‑driven skills. Over the years, I have worked across advertising, events, and editorial photography while completing formal studies in advertising and graphic design, majoring in photography.
Since relocating to New Zealand in 1997, I have continued to expand my practice. Based in Wellington, I work at the National Library, where photography remains central to my professional and creative life.
