Born in Offenbach in 1962. After dropping out of a carpentry apprenticeship and failing to complete his studies in visual communication, he now works as a graphic designer and also pursues painting, freelance illustration, object art, photography, writing and music.
With his music project LATZ, he released vinyl records and a compact disc on his own label, Angry Fish Music, featuring two tracks in collaboration with Lene Lovich.
A book project entitled ‘Der will nur spielen!’ (He just wants to play!) on the subject of ‘fighting dogs and the civilised environment’ is still work in progress. An exhibition of paintings, sculptures and illustrations, being part of the book, took place in 2004 at the Galerie zero in Berlin.
Between 2002 and 2004, Bulgrin was part of the artist group ‘wortvirus’ with an affiliated bar in Berlin Schöneberg. In 2004, he was part of the authors' collective WAMMUK. In 2009, he completed his short film ‘Lilith,’ in which the artist Salomé played one of the leading roles.
