Michael Sperry, a self-taught photographer, focusing on landscape and street photography. I got my first SLR camera around 45 years ago when I was in the service. At the time I primarily photographed my family but experimented with some conceptual photography. After the service I entered the corporate world and the camera found itself consigned to the back of the closet. Late in life I left the corporate world and started a career as an independent over the road truck driver, driving across the lower 48. The diverse scenery of the country reignited my passion for photography. I picked up a DSLR and started photographing the landscapes, street and the urban settings of the cities I traveled to. I currently reside in Northern Idaho near the Palouse region. My photography primarily focuses on the landscapes, the towns and cities of the region.
