I’m Priya Ojha, and for the last eight years, photography has been my way of breathing.
I didn’t pick up a camera because I wanted a career; I picked it up because I needed a lifeline. During a very low phase in my life, the lens became the only thing that helped me find hope again. It forced me to slow down, look at the world, and truly notice the quiet gifts nature gives us every day. Photography didn't just give me a hobby—it gave me a reason to relive my life.
Two years ago, things got a bit harder. I was diagnosed with Keratoconus, a condition that makes it difficult for my eyes to focus. As a photographer, it’s a scary thing to lose your sharpest tool. There are days when shooting and editing feel like an uphill battle, but I refuse to stop.
I live by the philosophy of Ikigai: I do what I love for as long as I am able. My condition has actually taught me something beautiful—that you don't need perfect vision to have a clear vision. Today, I don’t just click what I see; I click what I feel.
While I am incredibly honored to have been ranked in the Top 1% of the 35 International Awards and awarded and featured on platforms like 1x.com and Classic Magazine, my real "award" is the connection I feel with the world through my camera.
Thank you for being part of my journey and for seeing the world through my eyes.
