Madonie,Sicily
There is a moment, upon the high peaks of the Madonie, when the world ceases to be solid. It is the moment when low clouds wedge themselves between the fissures of the rocks, filling the silences and erasing the paths. This project is born on that border: where the stone is hard and immutable, yet the air is dense and uncertain. The Philosophy: The Peace of Not Knowing We often try to define ourselves with sharp lines, like the silhouettes of mountains against a clear sky. But my identity, much like these photographs, lives within the long exposure. It is not a precise instant; it is an accumulation of time and waiting. The fact of \"not knowing who I am\" is not a lack here, but a state of listening. Like the mist that embraces the limestone peaks without seeking to possess them, I move through these places: not to document a geography, but to capture a sense of peace that exists only when boundaries vanish. \"There is an immense peace in not seeing where the rock ends and the sky begins. I stopped looking for a definition of myself the day I realized I am like these clouds: a fleeting breath that finds its home among the most ancient stones.\"
