Francesco Merlini Milan | IT

I was born in Aosta in 1986. After receiving a bachelor degree in industrial design from the Politecnico University of Milan, I devoted myself completely to photography.

After covering Italian news, I now work mainly on personal long-term projects as well as corporate and editorial assignments.

In 2012, I was published in the book Mono vol. One alongside renowned photographers such as Roger Ballen, Daido Moryiama, Anders Petersen and Antoine D’agata. In 2015 my long-term project Farang won the Conscientious Photography Portfolio Competition and later I was selected by the British Journal of Photography as part of The Talent Issue: Ones to Watch 2016.

I’m represented by Prospekt, a photojournalism and story-telling agency.
