Jesús Ríos Cozzetto is a visual photographer whose work explores light, atmosphere, and the emotional resonance of everyday moments. His images capture fragments suspended in time, inviting viewers to reflect on human experience through subtle narratives and evocative compositions.
Defined by warm tones, deep contrasts, and a sensitive use of shadow, his photography constructs immersive atmospheres where texture, darkness, and symbolism play a central role. His work redistributes visual importance within the frame, creating depth, theatricality, and a strong connection between subjects and their environments.
His photographs have been published and featured in international platforms including Canon, Perímetro, i-D Magazine, Iconic Artist, Lenscratch, Nuvo Magazine, Float Magazine, UrbanVoid Vol. 1 (France), and PhotoVogue. He also contributed a written piece on nighttime photography for INBTWN Magazine. His work has been broadcast on NBC and is part of the collections of the National Art Library and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
His practice has been presented across international contexts. In Switzerland, he participated in an open-air exhibition in the city center of Locarno, where his work was installed in public space as part of the promotion of Spazio X Tempo, a publication by Where Flowers Bloom Magazine.
Following this exhibition, the produced works were included in a printed publication that was later presented at the Festival Weltformat in Lucerne, extending the circulation of his work within one of Europe’s key gatherings for design and independent publishing.
His work was also selected for the festival at the Tate Modern by OFFPRINT, one of the leading platforms for independent art and photography publishers internationally.
Ríos Cozzetto has exhibited his work internationally, including the 36th Cleveland Annual Fine Print Fair (New York, 2020), Winter Solstice at the Griffin Museum of Photography (Massachusetts, 2025–2026), and Medium Photo Tense Artist Talks (San Diego, California).
Additionally, his work has been featured in the publication Roots & Rituals by the Stirling Photography Festival (Scotland), and he has contributed to The Unfast Fashion Design Project for Blowhammer.
