#Rearrangement
"#Rearrangement" is an installation and mixed-media photography project developed in 2022 from a single photographic image, reproduced and transformed through different materials and forms. The original remains recognisable, while each version shifts the visual structure of the photograph and the relationships within it. The image also changes according to the viewer’s position. As the viewing angle shifts, parts of it emerge, disappear or overlap; forms separate and come together, and from certain viewpoints the image fragments almost completely. Moving through the exhibition space produces a succession of different views of what originates from the same photograph. #Rearrangement explores the instability of the photographic image and the role of perception in shaping what we see. The same photograph does not necessarily produce the same image: what becomes visible depends, quite literally, on where we stand.
