“The images that you see here were not taken with a series in mind. Over time my street photographs have started forming what I am starting to see as a series, but the majority of these images were taken instinctively without planning. This is how I enjoy to shoot the most. Shoot first, think about it all later. Over analysis, tiresome pondering and a serious disposition is the death of creativity in my mind when it comes to photography.

Some of these were taken whilst out and about in my home town of London, some on assignments abroad. I always have my camera round my neck and wait for something interesting to catch my eye. I am happy if I capture something either emotionally suggestive or interesting in terms of geometry or light play. If all of these things come together then I’m very happy! Human behavior fascinates me and is what got me into street photography. Over time I have been exploring the geometry and light elements more.

I consider myself quite ‘hungry’ when it comes to photography and I have to feed regularly! One cannot eat the same thing everyday, and likewise I like to try new things and to see new places with the camera. It is this that keeps it fresh and me feeling like there is movement in my work.”
