Biography
Bela Doka is a Hungarian photographer focusing on social documentary and portrait photography.
Over years of experience Bela has covered and documented numerous subjects across the globe, from the Cuban street life during the so called “Special period” to the Russian community of adolescents and young adults known as the Putin Fan Club.
Drawing compelling portraits of the societies and cultures he encounters and captures through his lens, Bela works in both 35mm and medium film format, always focusing on individuals and their unique stories.
His work has been exhibited worldwide and featured in international publications such as Newsweek, Paris Match, Stern, Der Spiegel & The New York Times.
