Amy Dodson is a documentary and commercial photographer residing in the Southwestern United States. After graduation from the Kansas City Art Institute, her career began as an intern with Time Warner Magazines, Los Angeles, California bureau. From there, she worked in editorial and fine art photography. She had the welcome opportunity to work with Brianne Murphy, the first female DP on a major studio picture, as well as Allen Daviau, DP of Star Wars and The Color Purple. Dodson's work in television stills photography has been broadcast worldwide. Currently, she is conducting a documentary photo series of the American Southwest and the Santa Fe Trail.
