Black & White Fine Art

Ferrara Carlo was born in Novi Ligure in 1975. He currently works for a multinational company food located in Piedmont. He began his interest in photography in 2006 and deepened it knowledge through attending seminars, courses and experiments. His interest drives him to the rediscovery of analog photography and the darkroom without neglecting digital, col which produces most of his works. “Through observation of the real world, I develop surreal images, which become a metaphor for opinions and reasoning. The character I play in each photograph is the representation of mankind. The self-portrait is not aesthetics, but is the comparison of personal emotions with others emotions of the masses. A tool for inner exploration and a mirror for the observer. The entire production is united by the obsessive search for personal stability, with respect to issues that do not can have an unequivocal answer.” Links: Facebook page: Behindthemirror Instagram account: @carloferrara1975 Website: www.behindthemirror.it
