My name is Gabriele Venturi, I am a photographer born in 1999, and I live in Florence. Photography is my way of telling stories and observing the world with a personal perspective. I am interested in capturing authentic moments, faces, and places that speak for themselves without the need for too many explanations. Among my main projects is Sanctorum, a work dedicated to the human mind, where I explore the theme of memory and how we perceive reality. Another project close to my heart is Banu e Dușmanu, a reportage shot in Bucharest that documents life in the city’s poorest and most challenging areas. I live and work in Florence, where I co-founded the photographic collective Sensibile with a friend and colleague— a space to share ideas and experiment with new visual languages. Beyond photography, I also produce craft beer, an activity that allows me to express my creativity in a different way. My photography stems from the need to question reality and tell authentic stories, whether intimate or collective. I believe that every image is a trace of consciousness, a way to resist oblivion and explore what often escapes the eye.
