British-born photojournalist Ian McVea is a Texas-based educator and newspaper veteran, having worked as a staff photographer, photo editor, and Director of Photography at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. His images have appeared in the New York Times, Life Magazine, Time, Newsweek, US News & World Report, Sports Illustrated, Getty Images, and the Associated Press, among others. The work has received recognition from national and international photojournalism organizations, and has been displayed in numerous galleries and museums in Texas, where he lives, works, and teaches photography.
