I am a Seattle-based photographer that has worked in and around the commercial photography industry for over twenty years. After honing my craft at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I spent over ten years working with Corbis Inc. and Getty Images, two of the largest stock photo agencies in the world. I specialized in content and image creation, high-end photo retouching, the construction of complex clipping paths and logo removal. I most recently supported a team of highly creative image retoucher for Nordstrom direct division inside Nordstrom's photo studio called Studio N. Prior to Nordstrom I spent five years as the Senior Photo Editor for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. I was responsible for acquiring and managing a high volume of diverse photography assets and services across the foundation in an often fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities. As the Senior Editor I also acted as an in-house photojournalist for our foundation.
