My name is Olga Sala and the first photographs I took are mental. I was born in a city of Barcelona in a family that could be said to be builders. Maybe because of that and because of the courage seen around me, that courage to dare to believe, to create and build, since I was little I always dreamed of designing my own life, as if that were true art and that means life. When I was a child, at 5 years old I lost my mother to cancer that literally devoured her. Of my mother, since her loss, I have kept two mental photographs, two photographs that never existed, except in me. Maybe it all starts there.
