Through the lens of a camera, I attempt to capture the stirring of a soul. Of my soul. Hoping that my images uncover the beauty and magic of the ordinary that so often goes unoticed. Small everyday details stand alongside the sweeping grandeur of nature, humanness, cityscapes and the streets of life. For me, my images tell stories of daily life and the human hearts condition. They advocate for those whose voices go unheard or are misunderstood. They ask us to look more closely and feel more deeply into our own selves, our own hearts, and what is important to us as individuals and as a society. With my vision I try to find light in the shadow and shadow in the light. My art, like my life, is a practice in everyday mindfulness and deep insight.
