My name is Pawel Kosicki. My photography experiences date back to the politically turbulent late 80’s in Poland, when as a young photojournalist, I established cooperation with the Polish weekly magazine „Wprost”. Eager for new challenges, a few months later, I packed my camera bag and set off out into the world, settling for several months in London. Street photography occupied my mind, and London turned out to be the perfect stage for this. In 1991 I returned home to the „New Poland”, which had undergone political transition, and was a country which had a lot to offer. For the next years, I was swept along by commercial photography, fortunately not forgetting my reporter’s roots. By 2004, the wind of changes had begun to blow again, and once more I set out to pursue my youthful dreams. Travel has ultimately dominated my life in photography. In Rome I honed my skills under the best photographers at the legendary Magnum agency, while in Warsaw I graduated from the Film School WSF. In 2009 I became a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers ZPAF. I am still on the road, looking for new experiences and images. Photography aside, I sincerely love cycling and bicycle expeditions, devote myself completely to them.
