Shinwoo Park (b.1980) Photographer, Filmmaker sinupark@gmail.com pswsq.com While studying photography and videography, naturally I have been involved in observation and documentation for a long time. I searched for valuable stories that age with time in marginalized areas of the world rather than simply looking for heroic beauty. In order to catch the subtle dignity, you need to give it time and observe. Photographers usually press their shutter for photogenic heroes or the decisive moment of a climax. My work focuses on the slow and continuous flow of time. Currently I am teaching photography at the Korea National University of Arts, Multimedia videographic division and directing/producing as an executive director of Locals Locations. I was selected as the Korean representative at the 2022 Fuji Film’s global contest that selected 15 photographers from all over the world.
