Greetings! I'm a photographer based in Wells, Maine. As a child growing up on Long Island, New York, I fondly remember recording the world with my Kodak Instamatic camera! After receiving my MFA from The School of Visual Arts, at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and studies at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, I worked professionally as a graphic designer and real estate and product photographer. During this time, I also obtained a Master of Arts and Doctorate in Education. In 2005, ! was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which, among other things, effected the eyesight in my dominant eye. This required me 'switch' eyes for subject viewing, and to slow down my thought process. A mixed blessing in many ways. Recently retired, I am quite is excited to explore my first love of telling stories through the camera lens. "I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, fascinated by so many things, and do my best to present my images with minimal manipulation. I try to capture moments that speak to me with hope that they will speak to others as well. Life is full of beauty, tragedy, and mystery... I am always in awe. I hope you enjoy my work."
