Black & White Documentary Fine Art Photojournalism Street Photography

Tiago is a Portuguese photographer and post production artist currently based in Lisbon. He has worked in the film industry for over 10 years and is currently dedicating more time to developing his own creative vision using photography as the main medium. Having started his studies with a Bachelor in Architecture back in 2007, and then shifting towards the film industry, he went back to studying in 2022. On that year he started an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London. Through the course and having had contact with several talented artists, he started developing a new perspective in his photography, adding more intention, a slower pace and new meaning to his message. Being someone that loves the outdoors and is curious about human connection he is currently developing a body of work that explores the conflicting relationship between humans and the natural world. Currently doing an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography with the UAL, he intends to explore projects that will challenge him and make him approach photography in a new light.
