Tim Bartholomew is a tall, balding and wrinkly actor, a comic novelist and (when in the mood) not averse to dragging up as Mimsey McWirter. On TV in the past year, Tim has appeared on CALL THE MIDWIFE, THIS ENGLAND (with Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson), MEET THE RICHARDSONS, and DOCTORS. He has filmed two movie roles this summer: a country solicitor in CHRISTMAS AT PLUMHILL MANOR and a comedy vicar for GO AWAY! with Hugh Bonneville. Tim is also big in commercials, mostly famously at Christmas as Posh Santa for M&S, a dotty Grandpa for ASDA and Scrooge for Curry’s PC World. (Seasonally, he is to be found as Mad Santa in a grotto near Biddenden.) Tim is also a bird photographer. His pictures are on Instagram (@timbakerbartholomew). He has a comedy website at timbartholomew.co.uk. On the writing front, he has just finished his fifth novel, a thriller entitled Angel in Tobago, a Paradise in Peril which will be published in time for Christmas.
