Veronica Parusso (born 1989) has always cultivated a deep passion for photography, born from the enchantment of the darkroom that her father had set up at home. Although she is not a professional photographer, she enthusiastically devotes her free time to visual research, combining this passion with her work as a teacher. After a degree in communication, she delved into the language of images by enrolling in the School of Cinematic Arts in Genoa, following the “Director of Photography” curriculum. Her interest focuses mainly on the natural world, with a particular fondness for trees and forests. Her images explore the deep connection between human beings and the plant landscape, questioning the Western dualism between life and death and restoring to the forest its unitary and cyclical dimension, where each element is part of a Whole. In addition to nature photography, she also engages in urban photography, playing with perspective and light to create images that offer new keys to interpret reality. Her photography is a personal and spontaneous expression, a means of observing the world with a curious and open gaze, balanced between emotion and reflection.
