Yvonne Albe is a German nature and landscape photographer who feels particularly at home in the world of trees. Forests are the source of her inspiration. Her trademark are atmospheric images in which the beauty of her subjects is enhanced by fog and atmospheric lighting situations. By planning ahead for special weather conditions, she portrays forests and trees in a unique way. Behind this choice of motif lies Yvonnes Albe's deep connection to forests and trees. With her pictures she wants to show the beauty and diversity of a wonderful natural area that is now threatened worldwide by climate change, overuse and deforestation, and thus make clear what we are about to lose. She is actively involved in the nature conservation association and a citizens' initiative to preserve the forests in her area. Yvonne Albe was born in Munich in 1975 and studied social pedagogy in Dresden and the USA. She worked in various fields of social work. Today she is active as a freelance photographer and leads workshops on forest and landscape photography in her Bergstrasse-Odenwald region.
