    A philanthropist, idealist, and humanist, Iranian-born Reza Deghati, aka Reza, is an internationally acclaimed photojournalist who, throughout his illustrious career, has traversed all corners of the globe, bearing witness to moments of war and peace.

    During the last three decades, his photographs have graced the cover of National Geographic Magazine on numerous occasions, and many more have been featured in major international publications such as Time Magazine, Stern, Newsweek, El País, Paris Match & Geo.

    Over the years Reza’s work has been exhibited worldwide and awarded numerous prizes including, World Press Photo, the Lucie Award, and the Infinity Award. He has published thirty photo books and is a Fellow of the National Geographic Society.
