Boxing A photography project by Chris Garvi

“Boxing” is one of the first projects I undertook as “self imposed assignment” back when I was 20 or 21, I can’t remember. It seems ages ago. For this project I spent 8 months exploring and documenting the life of a tiny boxing club in a small town of the south of France.

Chris Garvi is an Independent photographer based in Marseille, south of France. Mostly focused on street photography, Chris works on stories, documentary or imaginary, paying a particular attention to the way narratives unveil within a single frame.
