    Judge: Alex & Rebecca Webb

Over nearly three decades, acclaimed photography duo Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb have worked together to create an extensive and profoundly absorbing oeuvre that has received widespread acclaim and been displayed across countless publications.

A full member of Magnum Photos since 1979, Webb is a renowned photojournalist and street photographer who is a master of the decisive moment. His images invariably feature human subjects and are permeated with visceral energy and movement, whilst in contrast, Rebecca’s subtle depictions are more suggestive, imbued with multi-layered symbolism, and abstruse metaphors.

Alex has published numerous books, including The Suffering of Light, a collection of thirty years of his most iconic colorwork. In addition, the pair have published three collaborative books, Violet Isle, Memory City, and Slant Rhymes.

Over the years, the pair have received distinction from esteemed organizations and publications such as the New York Times, National Geographic, the New Yorker, Time, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and taught photography workshops for museums, universities, and arts organizations around the world.
