The Kuchi are found in many areas of Afghanistan and are nomads who continue to migrate with the seasons. As a people they are incredible. The men with fierce eyes, kohl, black beards and clearly very resilient and tough. Their lives are truly arduous. They were so friendly and kept inviting me for tea. They migrate seasonally, a type of transhumance and are pastoralists with camels, sheep and goats.
