The tribes of Southern Angola
Ovanguendelengo, Ovakuvale, OvaHanda, OvaTwa, OvaMwila, OvaHakaona, OvaNgambwe, OvanKhumbi and OvaHimba, are some of the tribal groups found in Southern Angola. They live predominantly in the arid south, Namibe and Cunene. Their relative isolation and remoteness has ensured that their culture is enduring. In some cases we went villages which had rarely, if ever, been visited.
