Street Photography Award echo $NewDate; ?> Editors’ Picks of September 2022
“All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice.” – Elliot Erwitt
Following the results of last month’s street photography award judged by acclaimed American photographer Jamel Shabazz, we are sharing some of the competition entries that didn’t make it to the final round but impressed us with their overall strength and quality.
We discovered a great variety of street stories from all over the world and it was a pleasure to see photographers respond to the theme in so many ways. Daily scenes showing tenderness within family situations, candid moments of friendship, meticulously timed and framed scenes, and unexpected situations.
Photographers have shown versatility and a great eye for composition using both classic and experimental technics, through digital and film cameras and we’re delighted to feature the 12 artists presented here.
