Last year’s exhibition marked a significant milestone, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of photography lovers, professionals, and media from across the UK and beyond.

The overwhelmingly positive response and the unique energy of London have inspired us to make this vibrant, global city a recurring location for our annual showcase. The 2023/24 edition promises to be equally captivating, with new and returning talents presenting their most compelling work.

The exhibition will showcase 12 months of awards, featuring the work of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners, each selected by globally renowned industry figures. Among them, Martin Parr, one of the UK’s best-known photographers, who judged our Street Photography Award that launched the 2023/2024 edition.

Other notable judges include longtime National Geographic photographer Michael Yamashita for December’s People Award, and renowned travel photographer Pia Riverola, who oversaw April’s Color Award.

This year also marks the return of our Visual Story Award, a category close to our hearts. After a brief hiatus last year, the award was reintroduced in February, with VII agency photographer Nichole Sobecki as the judge. We received incredible submissions that highlighted the power of photographic storytelling—whether through photojournalism, social documentation, or more creative and expressive forms.

The PhotoBook Café, located in the heart of London’s creative quarter, offers the perfect setting for this exhibition. As a hub for the city’s thriving photography community, it provides a space where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the art, relax with some food and drink, and connect with like-minded photography enthusiasts.

We’re also delighted to continue our partnership with Rapid Eye Studios, who will once again handle all printing for the exhibition. Their commitment to excellent print quality ensures that every image is presented at its very best, just as it was last year.
We invite everyone—whether a seasoned photographer, an art lover, or simply curious—to celebrate the medium we love.
