    “Untitled” - New York, USA
This one is from Randall’s Island in New York. I was immediately attracted to it when I first saw this place. It’s under a bridge that connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. The endless arches look like a door within a door within a door and they lead to somewhere unknown. I specifically took the shot during golden hour to highlight the contrast and color. © Fangzhou Zhou

“Mis Flores Para Tu Altar” (My Flowers for Your Altar)
The Orishas and saints are honored in altars that are always made following the characteristics of each deity, such as their colors, attributes, and defining qualities. Flowers are used as offerings to the Orishas and spiritual entities. This practice is related to the connection with nature, spiritual renewal, and the search for balance and protection. © Victoria Ruiz

    “Water Lily” - Vietnam
Water Lily has always been one of the iconic symbols of Asian countries. The lilies flourish during the rice field floods, attracting local farmers to harvest. These gorgeous aquatic plants have very long stems and once cut they are floated in the water before being sold. I went to a shallow ornamental pool where farmers grew water lilies: they were immersed up to their waists and their harvest simulated a sinuous dance. © Jacopo Della Valle
