“Full Swing” - Saudi Arabia, 2023
The Buraidha market, located in central Saudi Arabia, is the world’s largest and oldest camel market. The sheer number of animals and the chaotic atmosphere can be overwhelming, but it is this very chaos that I had aimed to capture in my photography. But what particularly caught my eye was the unique method used to transport some of the camels. © France Leclerc

These photos depict girls from Gagauzia in national costumes. They symbolize the living history and culture of the Gagauz people, passed down from generation to generation. The Gagauz are a Turkic ethnic group native to southern Moldova and southwestern Ukraine. Gagauz are mostly Eastern Orthodox Christians. The bright, saturated colors of the costumes, the blurred silhouettes, and the dynamics of the shots create a sense of time travel, blurring the line between past and present. © Maria Bratan

“Plastic Bottle Recycling” - Dhaka, Bangladesh
A woman worker sorts used plastic bottles in a recycling factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She helps to prevent the bottles from being discarded or sent to landfills, where they can take 1,000 years to biodegrade or be incinerated, which produces toxic fumes. The emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases will be reduced if recycling takes place in the production of new plastics. This small yet significant act supports environmental sustainability by promoting a responsible cycle of reuse, reducing the strain on natural resources, and safeguarding our ecosystem for future generations. © Joy Saha

“Prelude of the dance” - Mongolia
In the sacred halls of an ancient monastery, Lama monks chosen to perform the Tsam Mask Dance take a brief moment of rest from their rigorous training. These are no ordinary dancers—each monk selected to don the mask of a deity must first pass a series of spiritual and physical tests, ensuring they are worthy of embodying the divine presence in this sacred ritual. Before the performance, the chosen monks must purify their minds and spirits to align themselves with the energy of the deities they represent. Their training is intense—practicing at least 2–3 hours daily, refining each movement with precision, discipline, and devotion. Every step and every gesture carries profound meaning, meant to invoke blessings and dispel negativity. Here, in this rare moment between rehearsals, we glimpse their humanity—the quiet preparation before stepping into the role of divine protectors. In just a short time, they will return to their training, their dedication ensuring that the sacred Tsam ritual is performed with the same power and reverence as it has been for centuries. © Jatenipat Ketpradit
