“Morning Freeze” - Mont Saint Michel, France
After spending a few days photographing the Mont Saint Michel in winter, the temperature finally went down below 0°C, leaving the wet grass surrounding the structure totally frozen. The spectacle is rare. The clouds decided to also join the show, being highlighted by a soft, but intense pink and orange light. © Rémi Bergougnoux

    “Inversion” - Utah, USA
This is a drone shot of the unique textures of the Utah desert. It is a part of a series of images where the colors have all been inverted in post in order to challenge the perspective of a scene. © Kyle Barden

    “Offshore” - Malmo, Sweden
Offshore park in the baltic sea framed by the Øresund Bridge which connects Malmo (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark). It is the longest in Europe with both roadway and railway combined in a single structure, running nearly 8 kilometres (5.0 miles) from the Swedish coast to the artificial island Peberholm in the middle of the strait. © Michael Jurek

“Into the Mist” - Yosemite NP, USA
In a National Park mainly dominated by wide field landscapes, a telephoto view allows one to appreciate the intimate details by removing all distracting elements from a frame. Being able to witness a cloud inversion overlooking Yosemite Valley is a rare treat. Seeing the hypnotic low fog shift back and forth through the trees feels like the world is moving in slow motion. © Brandon Yoshizawa

"Untitled” - Joshua Tree NP, California, United States
The rock formations at Joshua Tree have a subtle grace and elegance to them, despite their massive size and seemingly random placement throughout the park. I photographed them just at moonrise while the last rays of the sun illuminated the tips and edges of the formations. © William Holderfield

“Misty-rious Hill” - Colmers Hill, Dorset, UK
Colmers Hill in Dorset submerged in low cloud and as I waited patiently the tree topped hill emerged on this ethereal scene. © Ian Asprey
